Preparing Graduate Application
All graduate programs require similar documents to apply; it is important to check out their program’s website earlier in advance to ensure you have enough time to prepare everything.
Required Application Documents
Before the application deadline in early December, applicants have to be prepared with the following documents:
- Transcripts (BA & MA)
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Personal Statement (Some programs require it)
- Writing Sample (Required for PhD and MFA applicants )
- Resume
- TOEFL or IELTS Test Scores
- GRE Test Scores (GRE is optional for some programs)
- Three Recommendation Letters

- Email: Make sure your email is valid with your name and can receive all kinds of emial.
- Payment: Ensure your credit card is able to pay application fee
- Recommendation Letters: You should talk to your referee earlier to make sure the letters will be submitted on time.
